Yes — any time, with no questions and no waiting period. Email info@helpthepoorinitiative.africa or call us, and we will change the amount or stop it that same day.
In most cases, yes. We email a receipt the moment your gift goes through, and it carries everything your tax authority needs. Rules differ by country, so check with your own adviser if you are giving from outside Nigeria.
It goes there. Restricted gifts are tracked separately and spent only on the programme you chose. If that programme is ever fully funded, we will contact you before moving your gift anywhere else.
Payment processors take roughly 3% of every gift. Covering it means the full amount you intended actually reaches a family. It is entirely optional, and your gift matters just as much without it.
We never sell, rent or share your details. We store only what we need to send your receipt and — if you asked for them — occasional updates. You can ask us to delete your record at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
Read the stories of the families your giving reaches, or look through our programmes in detail. We would rather you gave with your eyes open.
